New Jersey Pony Breeders & Owners, Inc.

The New Jersey Pony Breeders and Owners association  is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1957 to serve and promote the pony industry in the state of New Jersey. The New Jersey Pony Breeders and Owners association  is represented on the NJ Department of Agriculture Equine Advisory Board. NJ-Bred ponies owned by members are eligible to participate in the NJ-Bred Equine Breeders Award Program sponsored by the New Jersey Department of Agriculture.

IMPORTANT RULE CHANGES - 6/19/2010

For all breeds involved in the NJ-Bred Program (monetary awards), only the top 3 scores in any category will be counted.

P.3,  paragraph P: delete "any any other awards offered by NJPB&O.
 p.5:  section 4 should read:  Participants must enter and show in classes that are offered at both at the All-Pony Show and the NJ-Bred All-Breed Horse Show. They may enter any other NJ shows that offer NJ-Bred classes. 
 p.6 section 8-: same as p.5
 p.7 Section B, part 1:  Delete "Animals may show before more than three (3) judges, but only the best five (5) placings will count towards year-end awards.
    Section B, part 3 should read:  Award points may be accumulated in Welsh Pony classes at NJPB&O, USEF, WPCSA, and other New Jersey approved shows.
